GPT Healthcare IPO: Latest subscription, GMP on Day 2

On its second day of trading, GPT Healthcare Ltd., a regional healthcare company primarily operating in Eastern India, saw a moderate subscription rate for its initial public offering (IPO).

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, the IPO debuted on the stock market and saw a 37 percent subscription status on its first day.

With a subscription rate of 66 percent, the retail section of the issue garnered more interest when the subscription was broken down. Nonetheless, only a meager 18% of the eligible institutional buyers (QIBs) component received bids; bids have not yet been received from the non-institutional investors (NIIs) share.

The subscription is 0.64 times as of Friday, February 23, 2024, at noon, showing a mediocre response from investors. By 2:15 pm, the IPO had received 1.07 subscriptions in the retail category, 0.48 subscriptions in the NII category, and no subscriptions in the QIB category.

The GPT Healthcare IPO’s Grey Market Premium (GMP) is Rs 19, indicating that the share price is currently trading at a premium of Rs 19 in the grey market. The estimated listing price for the GPT Healthcare IPO is indicated at Rs 205 per share, showing a 10.22Â percent increase over the IPO price of Rs 186, taking into account the top end of the IPO pricing band and the current premium in the grey market.

The fresh issue of 0.22 crore shares, valued at Rs 40.00 crores, plus the offer for sale of 2.61 crore shares, priced at Rs 485.14 crores, make up the Rs 525.14 crores IPO.

The GPT Healthcare IPO subscription window commenced on February 22, 2024, and it will end on February 26, 2024.

The shares are scheduled to list on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on February 29, 2024, following the anticipated conclusion of the allotment process on February 27, 2024.

Four multispecialty hospitals in West Bengal and Tripura are run by GPT Healthcare Ltd., popularly referred to as ILS Hospitals. These hospitals provide secondary and tertiary care services in more than 35 specializations and super specialties.
